Exciting updates about our upcoming Autumn 2026 litter are on the way. There are so many different factors that go into breeding. The main goal is to improve the breed through intentional and purposeful breeding by matching the strengths and weaknesses of the Dam and Sire. One factor is genetic and health screening. While most of the former are probability markers and not definitive diagnoses, genetic and health screening give us additional tools to make thoughtful decisions and gradually improve the overall soundness of our lines for generations to come.
Looking ahead to our Autumn 2026 breeding season, our planned litter will be the culmination of our thoughtfully executed line breeding between Ada and Lee. With this pairing, we honor the foundation laid by those before us and look forward to carrying our lines forward with the qualities that define our breed. Our beautiful brindle Ada arrived from Portugal at 14 months of age, already titled as Portugal’s #1 Junior Champion, qualified for Crufts 2025, crowned Junior Lisboa Winner 2024 and Puppy CPC Winner 2023, and honored with a Best in Show Young Promise award. Our handsome Bred-By brindle Lee has distinguished himself by finishing his Championship from the American Bred Class with limited showing. He earned Best of Opposite Sex and Best of Opposite Winner over a notable group of Champions, including a nationally ranked Top Ten Special. Additionally, he was the FBDCA Designated Speciality Best of Opposite Winner in Sweepstakes at the 2022 Winter Wonderland Cluster in Perry, Georgia, hosted by the French Bulldog Club of Georgia. Through Ada and Lee, we look forward to moving our lines forward to the yesteryears, honoring the timeless qualities and foundation laid by those before us. We invite you to complete our Puppy Application to be considered for a future Eastham’s Open French Bulldog and begin your own journey in “Companionship at Its Best.”

Eastham’s Open Old Money — “Kennedy” — traveled to Indianapolis for the Indy Winter Classic!2/4/2026 She was entered in three shows, but severe weather kept the team from the first lineup. That didn’t slow her down one bit—she hit the ring for the remaining two and went 2-for-2!
Our beautifully linebred youngster shined from the 6–9 Month Puppy Class: Winners Bitch under Mrs. Debbie Campbell-Freeman (Danville Illinois Kennel Club) Winners Bitch and her first MAJOR under Mrs. Sherry Patton (Hoosier Kennel Club) With this major, Kennedy is now more than one-third of the way to her Championship—the title is in sight! Sired by our bred-by CH Eastham’s Open The Big Show, CHIC #197699 (Mafi). Our heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Debbie Campbell-Freeman and Mrs. Sherry Patton for recognizing and appreciating our girl in strong competition. We’re also deeply grateful to our dear friend Debra Zook Mattingly—thank you for getting her there safely, for your beautiful presentation, and for loving Kennedy as your own. Knowing she’s having the time of her life with you makes these wins even sweeter. And finally, thank you to the club members and volunteers for braving the weather—and to my husband and son for their unwavering support at home!
